ANTICIPATED OPENING:PART TIME (.25) MIDDLE SCHOOL SPANISH TEACHER (9/1/2024-6/30/2025)The Plainview-Old Bethpage CSD’s World Language and ENL Department is seeking a dedicated and skilled Spanish Teacher for a part-time, year-long position at the middle school level. The ideal candidate will have strong command of the Spanish language and a passion for teaching middle school students. An additional teaching certification in French in preferred. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging and effective Spanish lesson plans.- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback.- Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues.- Participate in department meetings and professional development.Qualifications: - Must have New York State teaching certification in Spanish.- Additional teaching certification in French is preferred.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.Location: POB Middle SchoolStart Date: August 28, 2024
