Duties: Putnam Northern-Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for a Teacher to provide instruction to high school students enrolled within the small engine repair and basic auto mechanics Career & Technical Education programs. This appointment will include a 4-year probationary period and lead to a possible recommendation for Tenure.Qualifications: Must possess a Small Engine Technology (Small Engine Repair) certificate or be willing to obtain NYS Teaching Certification. Must have experience in the field Small Engine/Motorcycle Repair. Characteristics Desired: Background in Small Engine Technology and experience teaching/working with high school students highly preferred. Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
