Duties: Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates operating a 6-week ESY Program for students with disabilities from July 3, 2023 through August 11, 2023. Teaching Assistant candidates are needed are needed to assist classroom teacher in the instruction and management of students.Qualifications: Must have a valid New York State Education Department Teaching Assistant certificate.Characteristics Desired: Knowledge of instructional approaches for students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders and/or multiple disabilities.  Must be driven, organized and have the ability to positively manage students.  Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
