Duties:Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need to teach cosmetic services courses to high school juniors and seniors. Candidate must be able to work with advanced students as well as students with special needs. Candidate must be able to collaborate with other Tech Center teachers to develop integrated projects, new programs and/or initiatives. Salary range: $57,706-$69,866Qualifications:New York State Cosmetology 7-12 certificate. In addition, candidates must have documented cosmetic/barbering experience. Those with 4+ years of documented work experience in the field of cosmetology are strongly encouraged to apply.Characteristics Desired:Must have a positive, can-do attitude. Able to develop rigorous and relevant lessons in Cosmetology for a wide range of students with varying levels of cognitive abilities and collaborate with other Tech Center teachers. Prior teaching experience preferred.
