The Pleasantville Union Free School District is seeking an anticipated opening for a leave replacement teacher at the Bedford Road School (grades K – 4) for the 2024-2025 school year. Qualifications: - Knowledge of early childhood instruction in ELA and Math - Ability to utilize various teaching methods to promote learning - Knowledge of small group reading instruction - Ability to conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, and modify instructional methods to fit student needs - Familiarity with using technology to enhance instruction - Ability to collaborate with team members Candidates must hold one of the following certifications: NYS State Early Childhood (birth-2) and/or Childhood (K-6) Certification Preferred Additional Certifications: NYS English to Speakers of Other Languages and/or NYS Students with Disabilities and/or NYS Literacy Salary Range is: $59,277 - $90,000 Letter of interest, resume, certification(s), and transcript(s) must be attached to the OLAS application.
