The Pleasantville Union Free School District is seeking a First Grade teacher for an anticipated leave replacement position at the Bedford Road School (grades K – 4) for approximately six weeks. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching at the elementary level and use a variety of methods to support student learning. A strong understanding of current best practices in reading instruction is important, along with the ability to use technology to enhance lessons. The candidate should be able to assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction as needed. The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to support all students is essential.
