The Pleasantville UFSD is seeking a School Psychologist for a full time (1.0) leave replacement position at the elementary level. Preference will be given to individuals with school-based experience. New York State certification is required.Job Responsibilities include the following:Chair CSE meetings and attend Section 504 meetings, and complete all necessary IEP documentsProvide evidence-based group and individual counseling to students with IEPs, Section 504 Plans, and building level counseling servicesComplete psychological evaluations and writing integrated reports to be presented at CSE meetingsCreate SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely) goals to monitor and track student progressCollaborate actively on the development and implementation of students’ IEPs; review and discuss student issues, profiles, and progress with team members.Work collaboratively with teachers, paraprofessionals, other related service personnel, and outside providers to review and discuss student progressSupervise school psychology internsParticipate in problem solving with school counselors and administrators through Child Study TeamJoin district-wide psychology didactics and DBT consultation teamProvide direct intervention and counseling to students on demand and in crisis situations.Pleasantville Union Free School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Please apply online in OLAS and attach a letter of interest, application, resume, and certification(s).This position is available immediately and is estimated to end December.
