The Pleasantville UFSD is seeking a School Psychologist for a part time (.5) leave replacement position for the 2022-2023 school year. Preference will be given to individuals with school-based experience. New York State certification is required.Job Responsibilities include the following:Manage out-of-district placements, including conducting comprehensive searches, site visits, CSE meetings, testing (as needed)IEP development and progress monitoring toward goalsProvide evidence-based group and individual counseling to students with IEPs and building level counseling servicesComplete psychological evaluations and write integrated reports to be presented at CSE meetingsCreate SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely) goals to monitor and track student progressCollaborate actively on the development and implementation of students’ IEPs; review and discuss student issues, profiles, and progress with team members.Work collaboratively with teachers, paraprofessionals, other related service personnel, and outside providersSupervise school psychology internsProvide direct intervention and counseling to students on demand and in crisis situations.Work closely with the team managing students within district to coordinate careWork closely with the Special Education administration to fulfil other needsPleasantville Union Free School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Please apply online in OLAS and attach a letter of interest, application, resume, and certification(s).
