Pleasantville Union Free School District is seeking a NYS Certified Teaching Assistant for a full-time (1.0) position in our middle school Individual Support Program. This is an integrated program for students who require individualized support in a mainstream setting. Responsibilities include working with students individually and in small group settings and directly supporting teachers in their work with students. In addition to providing individualized academic support, the program supports students in their acquisition of daily living and social skills, behavioral regulation strategies, and executive functioning skills. Candidates who have experience working with students with neurodivergent profiles are strongly encouraged to apply. A NYS Teaching Assistant certification is required.
