The Pleasantville Union Free School District is seeking a talented and innovative Special Education Teacher for a full-time (1.0) leave replacement position as Lead Teacher of its Individualized Support Program (ISP) at the Bedford Road Elementary School. This is an integrated program for students who require individualized support in a mainstream setting. Responsibilities include working with students individually and in small group settings on academics, activities of daily living, social skills training, and emotional and behavioral regulation strategies. Candidates must hold NYS Special Education certification in grades K through 6; candidates with dual certification and experience working with students with special needs are preferred.
