Position: One (1) full-time, 10-month, Probationary Teacher Unit position located at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta.Qualifications and Responsibilities: NYS Biology certification with a dual certification preferred, or candidates with a Health Care Program background are encouraged to apply. ONC will assist with obtaining the proper certification via Career and Technical Education requirements. Prior teaching experience or medical field experience is preferred. The chosen applicant will also work ten (10) days each summer at their hourly rate to set up student schedules and learning experiences at the hospital before the start of each school year. The selected candidate will be part of an innovative interdisciplinary immersion program designed in the healthcare field. Based in a rural healthcare setting, clinical rotations are designed to allow students to learn and obtain first-hand experience of the healthcare field and how academic classroom studies are applied in the field.Start Date: August 2023Location: A.O.
