Your primary responsibilities will include providing medical care, assessing and managing student health needs, and collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment Your expertise and compassion will contribute to the overall physical, emotional, and social development of students, enabling them to achieve their full potential.Key ResponsibilitiesMedical Care Provision:• Provide first aid and emergency care for students and staff members in case of illness, accidents, or injuries. • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and vaccinations according to established protocols and in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines. • Conduct health screenings, such as vision and hearing tests, and maintain accurate records of student health information.• Manage and monitor students with chronic illnesses or disabilities, ensuring proper medication administration, care plans, and accommodations. Health Assessment and Support: • Assess and evaluate students' health conditions, including physical, emotional, and developmental aspects. • Identify and address health concerns, recommending appropriate interventions and referrals to other healthcare professionals when necessary. • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized health plans for students with special health needs • Provide health education and counseling to students, promoting healthy lifestyles, hygiene practices, and disease prevention.Health Promotion and Advocacy:• Collaborate with school staff to create a safe and healthy environment, addressing issues related to infectious diseases, environmental health hazards, and safety protocols. • Advocate for students' health needs by participating in individualized education program (IEP) meetings, school committees, and health-related policy development.
