Newcomb Central School is a small K-12 district located in the heart of the Adirondack Park of northern New York State. The District is seeking an Elementary Reading and Math Specialist Teacher.The role of the Reading and Math Specialist is to examine data, conduct individual and school-wide assessments to evaluate students and provide high-quality instruction, support and leadership to produce high quality student outcomes in the areas of math and literacy. The specialist will provide interventions to individual students or small groups of students as well as work collaboratively with classroom teachers to implement additional support in the classroom setting.
