If you’re passionate about supporting young children’s health and well-being while working alongside a caring, interdisciplinary team, NIS is a place where your work will truly matter.Schedule & Calendar: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM: School-year schedule and 6-week summer programPosition HighlightsProvide daily health support in a joyful preschool setting where every day brings something newConduct routine health screenings, including temperature checks, and monitor children for signs of illnessCommunicate clearly and compassionately with families regarding health concerns, symptoms, and follow-up careMaintain accurate health records, incident reports, and required medical documentation in accordance with school and state guidelinesCollaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers as part of a supportive interdisciplinary teamBuild trusting relationships with children, families, and staffRequirementsValid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) licenseExperience with young children and/or individuals with developmental disabilities preferredAbility to lift at least 45 poundsPositive, flexible, and team-oriented approachCompensation $67,000–$79,000 annually, commensurate with experienceWhy NIS?
