Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in providing therapeutic services to young children with developmental challenges and/or physical disabilities. The PTA works collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to create a supportive learning environment that promotes each child’s independence and success.DutiesProvide hands-on care, including administering therapeutic exercises and modalities.Monitor progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and progress notes in compliance with medical standards.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.QualificationsAssociate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and rehabilitation practices.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.Previous experience in acute care or outpatient clinic settings is advantageous.Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is required.
