The candidate will work collaboratively with elementary school teachers to provide special education services to students with IEPs. Teacher will provide resource services and be part of an integrated co-teaching team with a general education teacher. This position includes coordinating services/programs with colleagues, maintaining open communication with parents and staff, monitoring progress on annual goals, carrying out testing modifications and supplemental aids, managing student behavior, managing paraprofessionals, and advocating for student needs.QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certification Students with Disabilities 1-6 OR NYS Students with Disabilities K-12
