(Filling in for a TOSA) DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This is a lead teacher position within a 12:1:1 classroom for students in 3rd--5th who need intensive academic support. The candidate will work collaboratively with elementary school teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to implement special education services to students with disabilities. This position includes coordinating services/programs with colleagues, maintaining open communication with parents and staff, monitoring progress on annual goals, carrying out testing modifications and supplemental aids, implementing a modified curriculum, managing paraprofessionals, and advocating for student needs. NYS Certification, Students with Disabilities K-12, or SWD 1-6.
