***In addition to applying on OLAS, all letters of interest and resumes must be submitted to Regina Farinaccio at rfarinaccio@nasboces.org with “HBCC Position” on the subject line or call 516-441-4930 by close of business on November 1, 2025***Nassau BOCES ParentChild+ is looking for a site coordinator to visit with home-based childcare providers twice weekly, coaching providers working with preschool age children, as part of its Home-Based Child Care (HBCC) Program, a national program to improve the quality of care for young children in group family childcare settings. The Program works to increase provider-child interaction, promoting children’s social-emotional development and advancing pre-literacy skills. The focus of this work is building strong relationships with the program’s early learning specialists and the family childcare providers and ensuring the program is delivered as required.RESPONSIBILITIES:· Recruiting, interviewing, enrolling and assessing providers who will participate in the program.· Recruiting, supervising, supporting, and mentoring Early Learning Specialists.· Facilitating weekly staff meetings and preparing/distributing information and materials.· Preparing and maintaining schedules, records, reports, and program data on the participating providers and the children/families in their programs.· Working independently and collaboratively with program administrators, community partners, early learning specialists, and providers.· Participating in the selection and ordering of the books and toys used in the program.REQUIREMENTS:· Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Child Development or related field preferred.· 3 years or more professional experience in early care & learning field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.· Supervisory experience preferred.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Strong computer skills (including Microsoft office) and organizational skills.· Experience working with families and young children in a multi-cultural setting.· Ability to organize information and records; create written materials and schedules for staff.· Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.HOURS: Part-time consulting position***In addition to applying on OLAS, all letters of interest and resumes must be submitted to Regina Farinaccio at rfarinaccio@nasboces.org with “HBCC Position” on the subject line or call 516-441-4930 by close of business on November 1, 2025***
