Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Advising school district administrators and/or teachers on program selection to meet curriculum needs.Coordinating and delivering professional development activities.Providing curriculum support in Arts Education to school district representatives and program providers.Collaborating with the supervisor and staff of Arts in Education for purposes of planning, management and delivery of Arts in Education and Exploratory Enrichment programming for students.Assisting school district administrators in creating and implementing musical instrument lease/purchase projects to meet curriculum needs.Requirements:New York State Certification School District Leader or School District Administrator.New York State Professional/Permanent Teacher Certification: Music (All Grades) is highly preferred.3+ years of teaching experience as a music teacher and knowledge of school band and orchestral instruments.Excellent managerial, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Experience with instructional technology and applications.Ability to travel within Nassau County.*** IN ADDITION TO APPLYING ON OLAS, ALL APPLICANTS MUST VISIT THE NASSAU BOCES Employment Opportunities PAGE TO COMPLETE THEIR APPLICATION ***
