Description:The Nassau BOCES is seeking a Program Coordinator to develop and maintain a long-term Agency-wide professional learning initiative, focusing on digital tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the adoption of Agency technologies to increase staff digital dexterity and productivity. This individual will define and lead Agency-wide professional development through the establishment of measurable goals as well as utilize data to drive technology and professional development initiatives. This includes conducting needs assessments, developing a schedule of professional learning programs, building learning program descriptions, and partnering with industry experts to support all employees within Nassau BOCES. This individual will design and provide high-quality professional learning opportunities and remain current in policies and practices related to professional development and technology integration.Requirements:* NYSED Certification: School District Administrator (SDA) or School District Leader (SDL)* Ability to dissect business processes to align technology solutions that promote efficiency and unify operations with standardized methods, tools, and applications* Demonstrated understanding of current data security, privacy regulations, and controls* Expertise in training staff on the use of office productivity tools (i.e., Microsoft Outlook, OneDrive, 365 platform, etc.)* Excellent managerial, coaching, interpersonal, written, verbal, and communication skills* Experience in planning and leading professional learning in face-to-face, hybrid and virtual learning environments as well as building/administering program budgets* Knowledge of adult learning theory and ability to travel within Nassau County
