The Career and Technical Education program is seeking a part-time instructor to teach adults in our Adult Evening Pet Grooming Program. Courses include: Pet Grooming I: This course includes basic canine anatomy and animal behavior and using grooming equipment to bathe, dry and groom pets. Pet Grooming II: This course includes grooming styles used among different breeds and special grooming tools used to groom faces, blend coat lengths and trim nails as well as interacting with pets and their owners. This part-time instructional position is held at the Adult Career and Technical Education Center in Westbury, NY two nights per week from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM. REQUIREMENTS: Industry-related experience.
