The Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology at Nassau BOCES is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the Center for Online Learning (COL). This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective planning, management, and delivery of online learning opportunities for educators and students across Nassau County.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinating the development, scheduling, and implementation of online courses and professional learning opportunitiesAssisting with the design and maintenance of online learning systems, platforms, and resourcesSupporting the delivery of professional development by modeling effective online instructional practices and digital tool integrationMaintaining departmental documentation and internal workflows using Microsoft 365 toolsAssisting with internal and external communication, ensuring timely and accurate responses to school districts and vendorsCollaborating with team members to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and enhance the overall effectiveness of COL initiativesPreparing reports, tracking participation data, and supporting fiscal documentation under the guidance of Supervisor II of the COLCommunicating with school district administrators, teachers, and staff to support instructional technology integration and special projects REQUIREMENTS:New York State Education Department Certification: School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA)Three or more years of teaching and/or administrative experienceExperience with technology, technical infrastructure, multi-media, and professional developmentExcellent written, verbal, and communication skillsExperience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint SALARY: As per labor contract Non-Discrimination Statement The Nassau BOCES offers employment and educational opportunities without regard to age, color, creed, disability, familial status, gender, gender expression, gender identity, marital status, military/veteran status, national origin, predisposing genetic characteristics, race, religion (including religious practice and/or expression), sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical condition), sexual orientation or victim of domestic violence status.
