Malverne School District anticipates having a .6 Business position opening for the 2025-2026 school year. We are seeking recent graduate candidates who hold NYS certification in Business or are in the process of getting one for a position starting August 2025 REQUIREMENTS: Have a valid NYS Teacher certification in Business ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Provide rigorous lessons aligned with New York State Business CurriculumTeach students through an inquiry-based curriculum, and place the thinking work on all students Collaborate with the Instructional Leadership to design and implement a rich and rigorous Business curriculum and assessments aligned to state standards Demonstrate experience integrating technology resources into teaching and learning Investigate innovative technologies and applications for implementation in the classroom Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development Be an active participant in honorary memberships/organizations, department, school, district meetings and professional development activities Foster and maintain effective communication with parents and/or guardians Establish a positive classroom environment through proactive methods, a clear management system, and strong student rapport Demonstrate a relentless commitment to ensuring all students succeed at the highest levels Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor, Principal or other appropriate administrator
