The Malverne School District is seeking candidates for the anticipated position of Elementary Music leave replacement teacher beginning in September 2024 and lasting approximately 12 weeks. Candidates should possess the following qualifications: Valid NY State CertificationStrong background in classroom / choral music.The ability to inspire students.Strong communication and collaborative skills.Creation of a positive classroom environment through proactive methods, a clear management system, and strong student rapport.Relentless commitment to ensuring all students succeed at the highest levels.Willingness to work as part of the school community.Experience integrating technology resources into teaching and learning.Ability to maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.Active participation in honorary memberships/organizations, department, school, district meetings and professional development activities.Performance of other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor, Principal, or other appropriate administrator.
