Your core duties will include:IEP Development and Management: Developing, writing, and implementing detailed Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including creating measurable goals, providing direct instruction, and meticulously tracking progress.Specially Designed Instruction (SDI): Planning and delivering Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) for students with disabilities in various settings, using a diagnostic and prescriptive approach to meet their specific needs.Curriculum & Pedagogy: Utilizing a student-centered, inquiry-based, and multi-sensory approach to teaching across all subject areas. You will plan differentiated learning activities, interventions, and enrichments based on both formal and summative assessments.Collaboration & Communication: Working closely with general education teachers to co-plan and co-teach, while also maintaining exceptional communication with students, parents, and colleagues. You will share best practices and contribute to a supportive team environment.Data Analysis & Progress Monitoring: Proficiency in collecting and monitoring student progress, preparing data in a visual format, and using it to inform your instructional design in a collaborative team setting.Pedagogy & Curriculum:Proven understanding and experience with multi-sensory reading approaches, specifically trained in structured literacy language instruction such as UFLI, Orton-Gillingham, or other similar methodologies.In-depth knowledge and experience with the Eureka Squared curriculum.Proven ability to align instruction to the Next Generation Learning Standards.Classroom Environment & Professionalism:A demonstrated ability to provide equitable and culturally competent learning practices.Enjoys working with young children and can create an engaging, positive classroom atmosphere.A commitment to continuous professional growth and a collaborative mindset.Technology Integration:Ability to incorporate the Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards to enhance and augment technology-rich instruction.
