Job Description:This is a hybrid position. The successful candidate will provide home instruction to medically fragile student(s) as needed. All other days, the Daily Building Substitute Teacher works in a Pre-K to sixth grade school providing classroom instruction. Merrick's Daily Building Substitute Teachers are an integral part of our faculty. Class sizes are small and Daily Building Substitute Teachers receive extensive support and professional development opportunities.Compensation: Home instruction rate is at the MFA step 1 (BA or MA Degree) salary on a per diem basis. All other days at the daily building substitute rate:$150/day (Day 1- 25)$175/day (over 25 daysDeadline Date: Please submit a letter of interest, resume, and certification through OLAS, no later than January 3, 2024.
