Menands school is looking to fill openings for instructional aides for the 2025-2026 school year.Instructional aide duties may include:Assisting teachers with classroom management and instructional activitiesProviding individual or small group support to students with special needsAssisting with personal care and hygiene needsAssisting with challenging student behavior and monitoring progressCollaborating with teachers and other professionals Assisting with classroom set up and organization Helping students with communication, mobility and daily living skillsMaintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for studentsPreference will be given to candidates with experience and a strong desire for working with children with Autism or other developmental disabilities with intense management needs.Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
