With a population of approximately 300 students, Menands Union Free School District is a unique K-8 school and district. We are a very supportive school community, and work collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of our students in a nurturing environment. Menands school is looking to fill a short term leave position for a Special Education teacher at the elementary level. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding and respect for children and families from diverse backgrounds, and a strong knowledge of special education. Preference will be given to candidates with experience and/or a strong desire for working with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities.Beginning: March 10, 2025Ending: May 9, 2025Applicants must possess NYS special education certification.
