With a population of approximately 300 students, Menands Union Free School District is a unique pre-K to 8 school and district. We are a very supportive school community, and work collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of our students in a nurturing environment. Menands School is accepting applications for a Music leave position, for the first semester of the school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for Music instruction in grades K-7, Band Lessons & rehearsals, and Chorus Rehearsals. Ideally applicants will possess NYS Music certification. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience and who are willing to become involved in extracurricular activities and be a contributing member of the school community. Given the duration of the leave, compensation will be in accordance with the MAT Contract at step 1 of the salary schedule.
