Looking for a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 School Year Mayfield Central School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to support students across grades K–12. The School Psychologist will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, families, and related service providers to promote students’ academic success, emotional well-being, and social development. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students (K–12) Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive reports Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, providing data-driven recommendations Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Collaborate with administration, teachers, and staff to develop behavioral and academic interventions Support implementation of MTSS/RTI frameworks Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations Provide consultation to parents, teachers, and administrators Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Valid New York State Certification/Licensure as a School Psychologist Strong knowledge of special education laws and procedures (IDEA, Section 504) Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Experience working with K–12 students preferred
