Mayfield Central School District is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist/Therapist to join our educational team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality speech and language services to students with communication disorders, collaborate with educators and families, and contribute to the development of individualized educational programs that support student success. Responsibilities: Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEPs. Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services. Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE/CPSE) meetings and contribute to the development and review of IEPs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student achievement. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as appropriate. Comply with all district policies, New York State regulations, and professional standards. Qualifications: New York State Certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) or New York State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist, as appropriate for school-based practice. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required. Experience working with school-aged children is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
