The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children in grades K–6. This position may include a variety of responsibilities, such as: Supervising students during lunch and recessAssisting in classrooms to support student learningSupporting students with medical or transition needsProviding coverage or assistance in non-classroom settings as needed The successful candidate is adaptable, dependable, and committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students. Qualifications: New York State Fingerprint clearance and Civil Service approval required. Strong communication skills and prior experience working with Elementary students preferred. The hourly rate is $21.16.
