The District seeks a candidate who is innovative, collaborative, enthusiastic, and demonstrates excellent organizational and communication skills for this leadership position. Prior administrative experience is preferred. This position requires 212 work days (teacher work year plus 27 days). This position reports to the Assistant Superintendent for Business and Operations (infrastructure) and the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Personnel (instructional) and is provided a four-year probationary appointment. This position is a part of the Manhasset Administrators and Supervisors Association.This position includes the duties and responsibilities below and other functions as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools and/or his/her designee. Qualifications: A Master’s degree (Doctorate preferred); demonstrated record of effective teaching experience; appropriate NYS teacher and district-level administrative certification required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provides leadership to plan, implement, and sustain a vision for instructional technology to support teaching and learning.Directs the implementation, integration, administration and maintenance of instructional technology throughout the District.Supports personnel as they actively integrate technology in their classrooms and works with building principals and other administrators in the improvement of individual staff competencies in the area of technology.Plans, directs, coordinates and maintains the technical infrastructure in all facets of district operations including cyber security, networks, CCTV, access control, and communication systems.Coordinates and advises in the selection and purchase of software, hardware, and other electronic resources for instruction and technical infrastructure.Qualified candidates should apply via OLAS with a letter of interest, proof of NYS Certification, and resume by February 1, 2023 to:Dr. Donald F.
