POSITION: Teacher Aide, Special Education Pre-k Class LOCATION: Central School HOURS: Monday – Friday, 27.5 hours per week SUPERVISOR: Building Assistant Principal DATE POSITION IS AVAILABLE: November 16, 2022 RESPONSIBILITIES – Special Education Aide Pre-k: Support of students with special needs as per their IEPCollaboration with special education teacher and other staff members on behalf of the student’s successMonitor the health and well-being of studentsEffectively communicate with classroom teacher and administrationWillingness to obtain and employ Crisis Prevention and Intervention TrainingData collection and implementation of behavior plansAssist classroom teacher as neededOther duties as assigned PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:A professional, patient, and calm demeanor with pre-k aged childrenExperience with children who have attentional, behavioral/emotional, and academic challenges COMPENSATION: The hourly rate ranges from $15 per hour to $21.09 per hour. The hourly rate is determined based on experience.
