Responsibilities/Skillset include, but are not limited to:A professional, patient, and calm demeanorConduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans Collection and analysis of progress monitoring dataLead consultation and training sessions with classroom and building teams, such as teachers, enhanced staff, related service providersComplete district-wide classroom observations and consultations to support the various behavioral needs of general education students and special education studentsClear and consistent communication with teachers, administration, parentsRespond to crisis and supporting the safety and de-escalation of studentsParticipate in weekly meetings with administrationComplete necessary paperwork for and participate in CSE meetingsAn understanding and ability to employ crisis intervention and prevention techniques/strategies
