The Liverpool Central School District is in search of a full-time probationary strings (orchestra) teacher for students in grades 4 and 5. Job responsibilities will include orchestra rehearsals and small group lessons for our beginning string musicians. The successful candidate should be able to display a high level of performance on their primary instrument, as well as proficiency on the other string instruments. They should also possess and be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of highly effective string pedagogy in both large ensemble and small-group settings. All candidates should possess a working knowledge of the NYS Learning Standards for the Arts, and hold the appropriate NYS certification.
