Our elementary schools provide a nurturing environment that supports both academic growth and social-emotional development.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the instructional leader, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning aligned with New York State Learning Standards.Develop and implement a school vision that supports student achievement, staff development, and community engagement.Foster a positive and inclusive school climate that promotes equity, cultural responsiveness, and social-emotional learning.Supervise, evaluate, and support teachers and staff to enhance professional growth and instructional effectiveness.Implement and oversee curriculum, assessment, and intervention strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.Establish strong relationships with students, families, staff, and community stakeholders to support student success.Ensure adherence to district policies, New York State Education Department (NYSED) regulations, and safety protocols.Manage school operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and facilities management, to create an effective learning environment.Qualifications:New York State School Building Leader (SBL) Minimum of five years of teaching experience, with leadership experience preferred (e.g., assistant principal, instructional coach, or similar role).Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum, instructional best practices, and data informed decision-making.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive school environment.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement benefits, and professional development opportunities.Application Process:Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest, resume, NYS certification, and three professional references through OLAS jobs.
