REQUIREMENTS: NYS Certification in Spanish 7-12RESPONSIBILITIES:The substitute teacher is responsible for the well-being and safety of the students, taking attendance, maintaining a functioning classroom, utilizing classroom management skills, leaving a clean classroom, and teaching the provided curriculum.Facilitate, execute or carry out lesson plans and assignments consistent with the regular teacher's past lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students.Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment.Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on available lesson plan.QUALIFICATIONS:Strong classroom management skills.Experience teaching Spanish in secondary school preferred.Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.Adaptability and flexibility to work in various classrooms and grade levels.Proficiency in computer skills and school/classroom educational technologySTART: November 20, 2025 through May 31, 2026SALARY: $175 per day
