Hewlett-Woodmere School District is seeking a dedicated and certified Special Education Teacher for the secondary level who also holds content certification in Business and/or Mathematics.Key Responsibilities:Provide specialized instruction and support to high school students with disabilities in inclusive and/or self-contained settings.Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure IEP goals are met.Deliver engaging lessons aligned with Business or Mathematics standards, tailored to meet diverse learning needs.Maintain accurate student records, including IEP documentation and progress monitoring.Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.Qualifications:NYS teaching certification in Special Education (Grades 9–12 or equivalent).Additional certification in Business or Mathematics (Grades 9–12 or equivalent).Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Experience working with diverse learners preferred.
