The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement IEPs tailored to the unique needs of each student.Adapt and modify curriculum materials to ensure accessibility for all learners.Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success.Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and communication to parents and guardians.Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that supports social-emotional learning.Provide multi-sensory reading instruction.Stay current with best practices in special education and participate in professional development opportunities.Qualifications:Appropriate certification required: Students with Disabilities 1 - 6 and/or B - 2.Experience working with students with diverse needs and disabilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and community resources.
