It is anticipated that the following district-wide position will be available for the 2023-2024 school year effective August 25, 2023. Position: Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and InstructionCertification Required: NYS SDL/SDAThe applicant shall have a record of successful leadership experience in the following areas:Instructional Programs-Data-informed leadership and increased student outcomes through data-driven teaching and leading-Development, revision, articulation, and evaluation of all instructional programs and to assist the Superintendent of Schools in achieving the instructional goals of the District in alignment with the NYS curriculum standards-Orientation and mentoring programs for new staff members-Professional development for instructional staff-Supervise the administration and analysis of all testing within the district-Formal observation and evaluations-Curriculum revision and development-Program budget for curriculum-Collaboration with building administration and instructional staff-Reading intervention programs-District-wide MTSS-Kindergarten screening and Pre-K curriculum, standards, assessment-Oversee technology-based content application program selection, monitoring and evaluation-Summer school programs-Complete NYS Business Portal Grant and Reports-Perform any other duties as assigned by the Superintendent Grants Management-Preparation, management and implementation of district grants including Title I, II, III and IV-Solicit funding and formulate grants for district programs for the federal, state and local resources, as well as philanthropic organizations
