The Henry Johnson Charter School is seeking a full-time Elementary School Co-Teacher to join our unique organization. We are looking for a passionate educator with a valid NYS teaching certification who can inspire students and foster a rigorous, culturally responsive learning environment.In this role, you'll plan, prepare, and teach engaging lessons that promote a love of learning. You'll also be instrumental in maintaining strong connections between home, school, and the community, working within a diverse environment of dynamic learners. This position requires a high degree of creativity, cultural awareness, and problem-solving skills.We offer an annual merit-based performance bonus of up to 10% of your salary, based on objective, predetermined goals. Additional funds are available for experienced teachers with demonstrable results.This position reports directly to the principal.
