The Haldane Board of Education is seeking an experienced leader for the position of Interim Superintendent of Schools. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing all operations of a small school district with expertise and experience launching and managing a capital project. The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator who can clearly convey the current status of the district and consistently engage stakeholders in collaborative efforts to implement Pre-K and other key initiatives. The candidate will also be a decisive and trustworthy administrator, who works collaboratively and has a strong command of NYS education laws as well as state and federal initiatives. NYS certification as a School District Leader (SDA or SDL) is required. A one-year contract including a regionally competitive salary will be offered. Anticipated start date is July 1, 2024.
