The REACH Academy in West Harrison, NY - a part of the Greenburgh-North Castle Union Free School District is seeking a certified Special Education Teacher to provide discrete trial instruction to students with clinically complex needs. The majority of the student body is on the Autism Spectrum. Most students have intellectual disabilities and exhibit challenging behavior that must be extinguished. Our student body serves older elementary school children through to age 21. The school prides itself on the warm, safe and welcoming culture we have created and are looking for applicants who truly value the importance of Special Education in their instructional practices.Background in ABA, RBT certification, or certification/licensure as a BCBA a plus.
