Our team is dedicated to creating a positive and enriching learning experience tailored to each student's specific needs in accordance with his/her IEP.Your Role:As a BCBA at Kaplan Academy, you will play a crucial role in:Conducting in-depth Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to understand the function of challenging behaviors.Developing and implementing evidence-based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to promote positive behavior change.Providing direct and indirect behavioral support to students across various settings within the school.Collaborating closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure consistent and effective implementation of BIPs.Collecting and analyzing data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.Providing training and consultation to staff on ABA principles and behavior management strategies.Contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment focused on student success.Ensuring all practices adhere to ethical guidelines and relevant regulations.Qualifications:Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.Proven experience working with students with special needs in a school or clinical setting.Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.Ability to analyze data, problem-solve, and make informed decisions.Experience in a special education school setting strongly preferred.Benefits:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.A supportive and collaborative team environment.The chance to make a significant and lasting impact on students' lives.To Apply:In addition to applying on OLAS.Please submit your resume, cover letter, and any relevant certifications to Jay Posephney (Principal) at JPosephney@gncufsd.org
