The REACH Academy in West Harrison, NY - a part of the Greenburgh-North Castle Union Free School District is seeking a certified Special Education Teacher. The REACH Academy is a highly therapeutic program specializing in working with students who have clinically complex needs. The majority of the student body is on the Autism Spectrum. This position will involve working with class groupings who are receiving Alternate Assessment. The focus of this position will be providing functional content area curriculum with a focus on the development of Life and Vocational Skills including Community-based Instruction.
