The Garrison Union Free School District has the need for a full-time Custodial Worker/Bus Driver. This position primarily performs manual work involving cleaning, moving furniture, and general upkeep of the school building. Candidates who possess (or are willing to obtain) a CDL license with P&S endorsements will be given preference.Examples of duties include:Sweep, mop, strip and wax floors;Vacuum carpets;Clean lavatories and kitchen;Move furniture and boxes;Mow lawn and shovel snow;Wash windows;Change lightbulbs;Replace ceiling tiles;Empty trash;May involve some heavy lifting and working outdoors.Qualifications: Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; willingness to preform manual tasks; thoroughness; dependability; honesty.
