Job Description:The Garrison Union Free School District has the need for a full-time Cleaner. This position primarily performs manual work involving cleaning, moving furniture, and general upkeep of the school building.Examples of duties include:Sweep, mop, strip and wax floors;Vacuum carpets;Clean lavatories and kitchen;Move furniture and boxes;Mow lawn and shovel snow;Wash windows;Change lightbulbs;Replace ceiling tiles;Empty trash;May involve some heavy lifting and working outdoors.Qualifications: Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; willingness to preform manual tasks; thoroughness; dependability; honesty.
