Assistant Business Administrator Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply through OLAS at www.olasjobs.org/longisland Qualifications and Responsibilities The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to: Assist in the development, administration, and monitoring of the district’s budget, accounting functions, auditing processes, and related fiscal operations. Supervise Business Office staff and oversee the maintenance of accurate records for all financial transactions. Assist in the preparation and analysis of statistical and financial data for administrative planning, budget development, and New York State Education Department reporting requirements. Support the Assistant Superintendent for Business in the administration and management of Business Office operations. Assist in providing leadership, coordination, and administrative oversight for the district’s transportation, food service, security, and technology departments. Collaborate with and support the Grants Office in identifying, applying for, and securing grant funding opportunities for the district. Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with staff, administrators, colleagues, and community stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent for Business.
