FREEPORT PUBLIC SCHOOLS P E R S O N N E L B U L L E T I N The Freeport Public School District has openings for the 2026-2027 school year for Industrial Arts positions at the Elementary School level. We are looking for dynamic and innovative educators to join our team of technology teachers. Industrial Arts, also known as Technology Education, is an educational program designed to develop practical skills and knowledge in the use of tools, machines, and materials for manufacturing and design. This program introduces students to a variety of technical and trade areas, including woodworking, metalworking, electronics, and more. While not directly focused on preparing students for specific trades, it provides a strong foundation for understanding and participating in an industrial society.
